Jupiter or Brihaspati is slow moving planet and represents knowledge and wisdom. Its color is yellow and stone is yellow sapphire. Sagittarius and Pisces are its own signs. It is exalted in Cancer and debilitated in Capricorn. Jupiter is lord of Punarvasu(7), Vishakha(16) and Purva Bhadrapada(25) Nakshatras. It take around one year to cross one sign.
